Is There Really Different Types of Inhaling A Vape ?

There are many types of inahling a vape catering to the many people. Today we will be covering less restrictive vs more restrictive.  Also known as in the industry as MTL (Mouth To Lung) vs DTL (Direct To Lung) these terms are commonly referred to as the way your air hits the coil to deliver vapour in any device. Below we will go more in-depth into the differences and what devices we carry currently that cater in these different categories.

MTL:

Mouth to Lung is when you inhale on a vape and hold the vapor in your mouth and before inhaling it into your lungs. This is what a lot of smokers to when smoking due to cigarettes being so restrictive. MTL is very prominent to beginners as it is the still delivering your sensation of vaping as it is restrictive with a higher amount of nicotine and you are achieving the same throat it. Lots of salt nicotine devices are geared towards the MTL vapers as they are higher nic, more tighter draw and delivers that throat punch. Now MTL may attract “beginners” due to the pro’s, but we find many “advanced” vapers are starting to move back to MTL due to the ease of having a smaller device and having to vape less to get the cravings kicked.

Device Recommendation’s:

Suorin Vango Mod, Eleaf Basal Kit, Aspire Nautilus 2 Tank, Berserker MTL RTA.

DTL:

Direct to Lung…. This is one where you see big clouds, tricks, high wattage and lower ohm coils. This is what has made vaping so popular from vape trick’s to cloud chasing. Direct to Lung is when you deeply inhale using more airflow and the vapour goes directly into your lungs, then when you exhale you have a big cloud come out. We always recommend for the DTL department to never use any high nic as most vapours that inhale this way usually range form 0mg to 6mg. You will find if you are vaping this way you will mostly be using Sub Ohm Devices.

Device Recommendation’s:

VGOD PRO 200 Kit, Geekvape Aegis Legend, Vandy Vape Pulse Box, Famo Fat Baby Mesh, Wotofo Recurve
